ABOUT THIS SPACE:

Just renovated! Modern beach chic 3 bedroom 2 bathroom townhouse. Master bedroom has a brand new cozy king bed and has floor to ceiling windows for optimal island viewing. Equipped with dressers and a closet for storage. Attached master bath has a beautiful tile shower and double vanity. The quaint kitchen has everything you need from sun up to sun down, dining in or grilling out. Bar stools and dining table provide comfortable seating for your whole group to sit down together. Screened in porch with patio chairs and table overlook the water, mangroves and fragrant plumeria trees. Brand new furnishings in the living room provide next level comfort for catching your favorite show on the 75" tv or gathering for a card or board game. The second bedroom which overlooks the water, also has a comfy king bed, dresser and closet. In addition, bedroom two has a small hide-a-bed, suitable for a younger child. The third bedroom has two twin beds with plenty of storage and fun sea creature decor. Upstairs bath has a modern tiled shower and bathtub. In unit laundry. Extra fridge and freezer in laundry room. Everything you need for a day at the beach or pool! Outside you'll find the cozy patio, private gas grill, outdoor shower and comfortable outdoor furniture.

POOLS: As a guest, you will have access to the North Captiva Island Club with two heated pools and a hot tub. In addition, you'll also have access to a heated pool and pickleball courts at Safety Harbor Club.

GETTING AROUND:

North Captiva has no paved roads and no gas powered vehicles. As you will see in your research, the Island is very small. Islanders use golf carts and bikes to navigate the soft, sand roads. Otherwise, everything is a short walking distance as well.

RIDE SHARING:

Services such as Uber or Lyft are available from most airport locations for transport to the water taxi. However it is very difficult to find a driver for these services from Pine Island. We recommend scheduling an airport transfer in advance to be at the ferry waiting for your trip back to the airport.

It is very important that on travel day, if you experience any delays, please notify your airport transfer, water taxi and let us know as soon as possible.

Book your Ferry:

You will need to book a water taxi to get over to North Captiva Island. There are two main ferries. One of the best things about the water taxi is it doubles as your transportation to the island and a wonderful first sightseeing trip to the island.  The boat takes between 25 - 35 minutes and you are likely to see many dolphins along the way!

**This is our preferred ferry recommendation, as it drops you off just steps from our property!

Island Girl runs a scheduled ferry every 2 hours starting at 7 AM through 5 PM.  They also offer private charters.  

You can call Island Girl Charters directly to book your water taxi reservations or book online at Island Girl Charters.   They book up quickly during peak seasons and times.  It is important you book your water taxi as soon as possible.  

Overnight parking is $10 per night.

*Please note that this ferry drops off a bit further from our property. It is not within walking distance, so please plan accordingly. 

You can call Island Club North Captiva directly to book your water taxi reservations or book online at Island Club North Captiva.   You will go to the office to catch a bus that takes you over to the marina where the ferry is to take you over to North Captiva.  You must arrive for check in at least 30 minutes prior to departure time for ferry to North Captiva. Last minute reservations may require a call to our office.  

Overnight parking is $10 per night

Grocery Information:

North Captiva has only two very small convenience type stores on the island used only for essentials. It's important that you prepare in advance and get your food and major supplies prior to your arrival. There are several options for ordering groceries, spirits, & supplies for your vacation.
